Background of Biojournal
From Biojournal.org
Biojournal is an openfree journal.
History of BiO as a journal.
It is a new journal system that uses openhypertext wiki and blog.
The concept of BiO was formally laid out in 1995 by Jong Bhak and his colleagues.
Main concepts
The main idea was to establish a free journal utilizing the internet and let everyone publish research papers easily and fast with continous open reviews and criticisms. Each paper can be improved as time goes by (post publication review).
All the materials published would be completely free (more than openaccess) and public domain.
To be cited continuously, papers need to have a definable data and knowlege unit. It is like a "word" definition in dictionaries.
Each paper is encouraged to form a distinct idea, proof, theory, dataset, speculation, and technological description.
